Martina Fitzgerald is the CEO of Scale Ireland, the independent not-for-profit organisation which represents and advocates on behalf of Ireland’s tech start-up and scale-up companies. Martina has two decades senior communications experience, including as RTÉ’s political correspondent. She is the author of the best-selling and critically acclaimed book, ‘Madam Politician: The women at the table of Irish political power’.

Scale Ireland is the independent not-for-profit representative organisation for Irish tech start-ups and scaling companies. Our purpose is to make Ireland a leading location for innovation and entrepreneurship. There are currently more than 2,100 tech start-ups and scaling companies in Ireland employing over 55,000 people.
