Irish Life works with Yonder to make corporate benefits

Yonder, the all-in-one platform to automate health insurance and retirement benefits for growing teams, today announced it is working with Irish Life to enable companies and their Irish employees to easily administer and enrol in local health insurance and pensions.

Yonder makes it effortless for businesses to provide core benefits, such as health insurance and pensions, to employees regardless of where they live. The platform is the only 100% digital way for companies to enrol and manage their employee’s core benefits. They partner with insurance and investment providers globally to streamline the creation and day-to-day management of health insurance and workplace pensions for companies and their employees. By offering the flexibility to allocate per-region health budgets or pension contributions, companies can easily scale their hiring without being slowed down by benefits administration or localisation.

In Ireland, Yonder will exclusively offer Irish Life health insurance and pension products to its clients. This means that companies and employees using the platform can easily access comprehensive coverage and investment options set-up in minutes. Irish Life will benefit from the additional digital channel to attract small and scaling companies. Employees can enrol and manage their health insurance and pension easily and with the flexibility to choose their own products with the Yonder mobile app.

Yonder’s vision is to become the one-stop platform for companies’ core benefits globally – taking on a fragmented and paper-heavy industry. By working with firms like Irish Life, Yonder is engaging with the highest-quality providers to expand its presence in local markets while also serving a wide range of countries via international health insurance.

Luke Mackey, Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re excited to be working with Irish Life as a launch provider in Ireland. They have deep roots here and have continued to innovate within the health and pension landscape in Ireland. We’re proud to be connected. The strength of our health and pension products places us in an exceptional position when it comes to our benefits offering, and we’ve already seen that as a reaction from our early members in Ireland. We look forward to continuing to work closely with the Irish Life teams creating great experiences for growing companies and their teams.”

Damian Fadden from Irish Life said, “Yonder provides an impressive digital solution for companies looking to offer key employee benefits like Health Insurance and Pensions to small or remote teams in a world where user experience and ease of reconciliation is key. Yonder has made this experience effortless, and we’re excited to work closely with their team to provide a best-in-class experience for our mutual customers. Irish Life has been a strong supporter of the fintech community through our ExO Hub, and we were introduced to Yonder through our association with, the not-for-profit body that brings insurance firms and fintechs together to promote innovative propositions that enhance the customer’s experience of our sector.”

Last year, Yonder announced a pre-seed funding round of €2.6M from heavyweight investors like Northzone and Frontline, among others. These funds will be used to continue to develop the technologies and expand into other regions. Founded in 2022 by a team of serial entrepreneurs and engineers, including CEO Luke Mackey, CTO Patrick O’Boyle, and Director of Engineering Deepak Baliga, Yonder came from a shared frustration with the slow, siloed and paper-based processes of setting up employee benefits that didn’t resonate with them or their peers. The trio reunited and joined forces to modernise the entire process and redefine how small businesses and their employees access health insurance and retirement benefits globally.
