Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro reviewed
This watch scores well on design, it looks good, fits snugly, and boots up well. Our testers enjoyed the look and feel of it straight out of the box. They were blissfully unaware of the pricing until we told them, so it would seem like this is something where you get what you pay for. With the benefit of iterations you can improve and tweak previous iterations of products, and this version of the device does seem to have taken onboard niggles and irks from previous generations. This makes sense, you already have a fan base, and then for new users, they get to jump in at the current level without the annoyances that previous versions have evoked.
We asked to review the white leather strapped version, which Huawei said was aimed at female users. We’re not completely sure if everyone would agree with such colour to gender destinations, but, around the table of our young, female testers, it was mostly appreciated and received positive feedback. Battery life also accompanied the positive impressions around the design, and it is always better when your device is not constantly dying after a brief amount of usage. The health tracking aspects, which is, or perhaps should be, the reason you are using a device like this, also perform well too.
It would have perhaps been good to have some dedicated explainer videos on the Huawei channel on YouTube to help new users walk through the optimal ways to use this device. As far as we can see there are not yet online. This seems like a missed opportunity, both to help new owners of the product, and also those considering getting the device. We will keep playing around with this device, but so far it seems like a decent piece of kit and would make a great xmas or birthday present too.
More about the watch
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro makes it easy to support a healthy lifestyle, with ECG analysis 1 and TruSeen 5.0+ data monitoring technology which allow for accurate heart health measurement, as well as blood oxygen monitoring.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT series is inspired by the automotive industry and is named after the high- performance yet luxurious station wagon, the ‘Grand Tourer’ or ‘Gran Turismo’. The GT was one of the first high-performance, high reliability and high horsepower sports cars, and became synonymous with glamour, adventure, and endurance. The HUAWEI WATCH GT series has harnessed that association, with a smartwatch which holds the same ground-breaking, long-lasting qualities as its namesake.
The next generation arrives in two stunning new models: HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition, and HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro Ceramic Edition – each one as striking as the other, but with their own distinctive design which makes a bold statement on the wrist.
HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition: artistry in every inch
The design of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition combines the 19 th -century concept of futurism with cutting-edge modernity, adding up-to-the-minute design twists on the previous generation in the series.
It’s equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED high-definition colour display. The larger face and 466 x 466 high-definition resolution offer even more clarity than previous versions, so that all data can be read in an instant.
HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro Titanium Edition has a tactile 3D rotating crown in the style of a traditional watch allowing the user to zoom in and out, slide through different interfaces, or adjust settings, all through clicking and rotating the crown.
Sport is a social activity, and HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Pro allows users to share their workouts with their friends, and invite them to join in. Wherever your workout takes you, the watch can keep up, with offline and Route Back Navigation to help you find your way.
