Home Security Company Ring to Start Hiring Irish Based Workers

Home security company Ring announced today that it will hire its first Ireland-based employees, around 30 technical customer support roles with flexible hours and locations.

Ring aims to recruit German and English-speaking technical customer support associates and team leaders by year-end. This initial investment in Ireland will support Ring’s commitment to continue investing in Europe, as we hire top talent, support local communities, develop new technologies and services, and make neighbourhoods safer. The new Ireland roles, which complement existing global operations, will add expert talent to help customers across Europe with home security device setup and troubleshooting.

“We’re looking for people who can ensure our customers have the best possible experience, whether that’s ahead of purchase or while getting set up with their devices,” said Andrew Pease, Ring’s Director of Global Customer Support.

New hires can work from home or in Amazon’s Cork office, with flexibility on shift hours and options for part-time roles. These permanent roles come with Amazon’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes private medical and dental insurance schemes, a retirement savings plan, eyecare vouchers, employee discounts, and an income protection and disability scheme.

“Ring has seen great success since we launched in Europe in 2016, and this new team in Cork will play a critical role in supporting Ring’s continued growth across Europe,” said Ian Semple, Ring’s Senior Manager of Customer Support Operations in Ireland.
